5 months agoWas craving this I haven’t been there in a while. NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE! The food is dipped in grease. Everything is soaked in oil, disgusting I had to throw my whole order way. Literally dripping in oil ! 🤢🤢 DONT COME HERE THE PLACE IS TRASH NOW!!

6 months agoGreat food but....price over the phone was a lot less than price when I got there. 10 dollars more. Cmon been coming here for years.

7 months agoCall ahead to order and I thought I heard clearly when I asked for the total and heard $22 even (50 cents rounded, but ok). When I arrived I was told $32, and when asking to confirm the total I received a nod. There must be an updated price menu because the math is not mathing.

a year agoThe ladies who cook and take your orders are the most pleasant people. Tacos are always great, and that fresh hibiscus tea is amazing! Remember, they're not open on Monday's happened to me a few times lol. Try them out!

4 years agoHuge burritos, very good prices, great local authentic, meixican food. We have enjoyed this place for years! You will need a huge appetite for the burritos they have here. They are literally like 12 inches long.

Edited a year agoI have to say this has to be one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in the city; I come all the way from the South Side to eat here at least twice a month. 😋

6 years agoFirst time visiting this place on the recommendation of a vegan friend. I was impressed by the size of the portions, especially considering the price. I had a steak and two chorizo and egg tacos with all the trimmings and had to use a fork for a while before I could pick the things up. Fresh ingredients and flavorful seasonings. The place was fairly empty as it was around 9am when we got there, so our wait time was less than 10 minutes, but it started to get busier while we were there. I'll be back but I'll try phoning in the order ahead of time first, or come in the morning again.

8 years agoThere is a reason this place has been cooking up the goods for so long. Can be pricey for a simple order which always bugged me but the food is good. I love the gorditas. The hours of operation are abnormal but if you can catch a nice sunny morning you will find your self enjoying your day with some edible satisfaction .
